TerraTime - Easily see current time in multiple cities around the globe
I regularly meet with colleagues who reside around the globe and am always having trouble remembering the hour in cities like Tokyo and Sydney. So I created this app as an easy way to see the current time in multiple time zones. You can configure it to automatically start at laptop boot, and can easily add and remove cities as desired. It runs in the macOS menubar, and when you click the icon this menu will appear:
Operating System Support
At present only Macs with the Apple Silicon chips (M1, M2, etc) is supported. If you're on an Intel Mac, Windows, or Linux and would like to buy the app, let me know and I'll figure out how to create an installer.
Info for the Nerds
I've been writing software for a long time, but as an experiment 99% of the code was written in conjunction with an AI coding assistant. If you would like to learn more about how I did it, I'm happy to answer questions and even jump on a Zoom. As always there are a few things I'd like to fix, such reducing the installer download size because a timezone app shouldn't be almost 100MB. The app is built using ElectronJS, and I'm still learning the ins-and-outs of packaging, code signing, and things like that.
